Purpose of Exam
The DECE (LE) 2025 exam facilitates lateral entry admissions into the second year of Polytechnic Diploma programs in Engineering, Para-Medical, Pharmacy, and Agriculture streams in recognized institutions across Bihar.
It is primarily for students who have completed 10+2 with Vocational/Technical subjects or 10th with a 2-year ITI and wish to join directly in the second year.

  • Online Application Start: 20 March 2025
  • Last Date to Apply Online: 04 May 2025 (Extended from 15 April 2025)
  • Last Date for Fee Payment: 05 May 2025
  • Application Form Edit Window: 07 – 08 May 2025 (Extended from 18 – 19 April 2025)
  • Admit Card Release: 06 June 2025 (Originally 01 June 2025)
  • Entrance Exam Date: 15 June 2025 (2:30 PM – 4:45 PM)
  • Result / Rank Card: 02 – 03 July 2025 (Updated from 01 July 2025)
  • Counselling / Choice Filling: Starts 3rd Week of July 2025 (Tentative)

Eligibility Criteria

  • Educational Qualification (Any One):
    • Passed 10+2 (Science Stream) with Physics & Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology
    • Passed 10+2 (Vocational/Technical) from Bihar Board
    • Passed 10th + 2-year ITI in a relevant trade
  • Age Limit: No upper age limit
  • Domicile: Candidate must be a permanent resident of Bihar, or parent employed under Bihar/ Central Govt. in Bihar

Application Process

Steps to Apply Online:

  1. Registration: Sign up using valid mobile number & email ID
  2. Fill Application Form: Enter personal, educational & communication details
  3. Upload Documents: Upload scanned photo & signature
  4. Enter Qualification: Provide academic & vocational/technical details
  5. Preview & Submit: Verify all details before final submission
  6. Fee Payment: Pay using Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, or UPI
  7. Download Confirmation: Save and print Part A & Part B for future use

Application Fee

  • ₹2200/- for all categories (General, BC, EBC, SC, ST, PH)
  • Mode of Payment: Online only (Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, UPI)

Exam Pattern & Syllabus

  • Mode: Offline (OMR-based Objective)
  • Subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics
  • Total Questions: 150 (50 per subject)
  • Total Marks: 600 (4 marks per question)
  • Negative Marking: -1 mark per wrong answer
  • Duration: 2 Hours 15 Minutes

How to Check & Download DECE (LE) 2025 2nd Round Allotment Result

  2. Open DECE [LE]-2025 portal or locate Second Round Seat Allotment Result link
  3. Click on the 2nd Round Seat Allotment link
  4. Log in using your Registration Number / Roll Number (if required)
  5. The allotment PDF will open – download and save it
  6. Print the PDF for future reference
