Bihar Police Subordinate Services Commission (BPSSC) is conducting recruitment for Sub-Inspector (Prohibition) in the Prohibition, Excise & Registration Department, Government of Bihar. The recruitment includes Preliminary Exam, Mains Exam, Physical Tests (PST/PET), Document Verification, and Medical Examination. Exam Pattern & Selection Process:

1. Preliminary Examination:

• Subject: General Knowledge & Current Affairs
• Questions: 100 (MCQ)
• Marks: 200 (2 marks each)
• Duration: 2 Hours
• Negative Marking: 0.2 marks per wrong answer
• Qualifying: Minimum 30% marks required
• Candidates for Mains: 20 times the number of vacancies

2. Main Written Examination:

• Paper 1: General Hindi
  • Questions: 100 | Marks: 200 | Duration: 2 Hours
  • Minimum 30% qualifying (marks not counted in final merit)
• Paper 2: General Studies
  • Subjects: General Studies, General Science, Civics, Indian History, Indian Geography, Mathematics, Mental Ability
  • Questions: 100 | Marks: 200 | Duration: 2 Hours
  • Marks count for final merit

3. Physical Test (PST/PET) – Must qualify as per above table

4. Document Verification & Medical Examination – Final selection after medical clearance

2. Open the link for “Mains Written Examination Admit Card for SI Prohibition (Advt. No. 01/2025)”.
3. Login with registration number, date of birth, and captcha/password.
4. Download and print multiple copies of the admit card.
5. Check all details (name, roll number, exam center, date/time, instructions) carefully.
