Eligibility Criteria

• Must have passed Class 10 (Matriculation) or equivalent examination from:
  • Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB)
  • Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE)
  • Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE)
  • Any other board recognized by the Bihar Government
• Available Streams: Arts, Science, Commerce, Agriculture, Vocational
• No age limit for admission

Application Fee

• General / OBC / EWS: ₹350/-
• SC / ST: ₹350/-
• Payment Modes:
  • Online: Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, UPI
  • Offline: Sahaj Kendra or Vasudha Kendra
  • Additional Options for Spot Admission: IMPS, Mobile Wallet, or E-Challan

Selection Process

• Admission is merit-based on Class 10 marks.
• Three merit lists are released in phases.
• Slide-up option is available for higher preference colleges.
• Spot admission is the final opportunity for leftover seats.

Application Process via OFSS

1. Visit the official portal ofssbihar.net.
2. Click Apply Online or Spot Admission (during the respective phase).
3. Register using active mobile number and email ID for OTP verification and updates.
4. Fill the Common Application Form (CAF) with personal and academic details.
5. Select up to 20 preferred schools/colleges in priority order.
6. Upload passport-size photograph, Class 10 mark sheet, and category certificate (if applicable).
7. Pay the application fee ₹350 online or via e-challan/offline center.
8. Submit the form and download the acknowledgment slip with reference/barcode.
9. Check merit list updates regularly and download the Intimation Letter for admission.

• Fill the form in CAPITAL LETTERS only.
• Only one form per student is allowed.
• DRCC centers provide support for form submission.
• Keep Acknowledgment Copy and payment proof safely.
• Download the Intimation Letter from the portal for admission.
• Report to the allotted institution within the prescribed timeline with original documents and fees.
