Eligibility Criteria (as on 01.01.2025)
Nationality: Must be an Indian Citizen
Age Limit:
- Minimum: 20 Years
- Maximum: 28 Years
- Candidate must be born between 02.01.1997 and 01.01.2005 (both days inclusive)
Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST: 5 Years
- OBC (NCL): 3 Years
- PwBD: 10 Years
- Ex-Servicemen: 5 Years
Educational Qualification:
- Graduate in any discipline from a recognized university
- Graduation must be completed between 01.04.2021 and 01.01.2025
Other Requirements:
- Must be medically fit
- No prior apprenticeship experience
- No work/training experience of 1 year or more
- Must be registered on NATS Portal: nats.education.gov.in
Local Language Proficiency:
- Candidate must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the local language of the state applied for
- Exempted if studied the language in Class 10/12 and shown in marksheet

Application Process
- Register on NATS Portal
- Visit: nats.education.gov.in
- Go to “Student Register/Login” and complete registration
- Apply for Apprenticeship
- Navigate to “Apply against advertised vacancies”
- Apply under Bank of India
- Email Confirmation
- Within 48 hours, receive email from [email protected]
- Complete final application and pay the examination fee
- Save Enrolment & Acknowledgement ID
- Keep a copy of application form and acknowledgement number for future use
Selection Process
- Online Written Exam
- Mode: Remote online test via smartphone/laptop with camera
- Duration: 90 Minutes
- Total Questions: 100
- Total Marks: 100
- Language: English and Hindi
- No negative marking
- Sections:
- General / Financial Awareness – 25 Questions (25 Marks)
- English Language – 25 Questions (25 Marks) (qualifying only)
- Quantitative & Reasoning Aptitude – 25 Questions (25 Marks)
- Computer Knowledge – 25 Questions (25 Marks)
- 5% relaxation in qualifying marks for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD
- Local Language Test
- Proficiency in the local language of the applied state required
- Candidates with valid 10th/12th certificate showing local language may be exempted
- Document Verification & Medical Fitness
- Final selection based on online test + language test + document verification + medical fitness
- In case of tie, preference given to older candidate by DOB
Stipend Details
- ₹7,500 from Bank of India
- ₹4,500 from Govt. of India via DBT
- Total Monthly Stipend: ₹12,000
- No other allowances or benefits provided
Job Role & Career Scope
- Training in customer service, clerical work, banking operations
- Participate in workshops and learning programs
- Apprenticeship certificate issued by BFSI SSC after completion
- No employment guarantee post apprenticeship
- Valuable hands-on experience to enhance employability in banking and financial sector
