Junior Translator 1 Post Graduate in Hindi/English/Any subject with Hindi or English at degree level, Diploma/Certificate in Translation, 2 years’ experience
Senior Draughtsman 1 B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering with 3 years’ experience
Junior Technician 2 Diploma in Electronics with experience
Senior Laboratory Assistant 2 12th (Science) with experience
Upper Division Clerk (UDC) 8 Graduation with typing 35 wpm in English or 30 wpm in Hindi within 10 minutes
Data Entry Operator Grade II 1 12th pass with 8000 key depressions per hour
Stenographer Grade II 3 12th pass, Dictation: 10 min @ 80 WPM, Transcription: 50 min English or 65 min Hindi on computer
Junior Laboratory Assistant 2 12th pass with Science
Lower Division Clerk (LDC) 5 12th pass with typing 35 wpm in English or 30 wpm in Hindi within 10 minutes
Field Attendant 1 10th pass
Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) 3 10th pass or ITI in Electrician, Plumber, Fire & Safety, Pump Operator

Selection Process

  • Written Examination (CBT) is mandatory for most posts
  • Minimum Qualifying Marks:
    • UR: 35%
    • OBC/EWS: 30%
    • SC/ST/PwBD/ESM: 25%
  • Skill/Typing Test for Assistant, UDC, LDC, DEO, Stenographer
  • Interview only for Scientist B
  • Document Verification for all shortlisted candidates
  • Medical Examination may be required for some posts

Exam Pattern and Syllabus

Scientist B (2 Hour Exam)

  • Duration: 2 hours
  • General Aptitude: 40 questions for 40 marks (English, Aptitude, Awareness)
  • Subject-Specific: 60 questions for 60 marks
  • Question Types: MCQ, MSQ, NAT
  • Negative Marking:
    • MCQ (1-mark): –1/6
    • MCQ (2-mark): –2/6
    • NAT: No negative marking

Non-Technical Posts (1 Hour Exam)

  • Duration: 1 hour
  • Subjects: General Aptitude, English Language, Mathematics, and Domain Knowledge
