About Exam
The Indian Air Force (IAF) has announced the AFCAT 02/2025 recruitment for Short Service Commission (SSC) in Flying Branch, Permanent Commission (PC) and SSC in Ground Duty (Technical & Non-Technical) branches, and NCC Special Entry (Flying Branch). The course for selected candidates will begin in July 2026 at Air Force Academy, Dundigal.

Eligibility Criteria
- Nationality: Must be a citizen of India
- Age Limit (as on 1 July 2026):
- Flying Branch & NCC Special Entry: 20–24 years (Born between 2 July 2002 and 1 July 2006). Upper age limit relaxable up to 26 years for CPL holders.
- Ground Duty (Technical & Non-Technical): 20–26 years (Born between 2 July 2000 and 1 July 2006).
- Marital Status: Candidates below 25 years must be unmarried.
- Educational Qualification:
- Flying Branch: 10+2 with 50% marks each in Physics & Mathematics + Graduation with 60% OR BE/B.Tech with 60%.
- Ground Duty (Technical): 10+2 with Physics & Mathematics (50%) + 4-year Engineering/Technology degree with 60%.
- Ground Duty (Non-Technical): Graduation (minimum 3 years) in any discipline with 60% or equivalent (specific requirements for Accounts, Administration, Logistics, etc.).

- Marking Scheme: +3 for correct, -1 for wrong
