Eligibility Criteria:
Nationality: Indian citizens (unmarried male and female candidates only)
Marital Status: Must remain unmarried throughout 4-year tenure

Age Limit (Batch-Wise):

  • Batch 02/2025: Born between 01 September 2004 – 29 February 2008
  • Batch 01/2026: Born between 01 February 2005 – 31 July 2008
  • Batch 02/2026: Born between 01 July 2005 – 31 December 2008

Educational Qualification:

  • SSR (Senior Secondary Recruit):
    10+2 with Mathematics and Physics and at least one of Chemistry/Biology/Computer Science
  • MR (Matric Recruit):
    Passed Class 10 (Matriculation) from a recognized board

Physical Standards:

  • Height: Male – 157 cm, Female – 152 cm
  • Chest Expansion: Minimum 5 cm (for all)
  • Running (1.6 km):
    Male – 6 min 30 sec, Female – 8 min
  • Squats (Uthak Baithak):
    Male – 20 times, Female – 15 times
  • Push-ups: Male – 12 times (not applicable for females)
  • Bent Knee Sit-ups: Female – 10 times (not applicable for males)
  • Medical: Good physical and mental health, uncorrected vision 6/12, corrected 6/6
  • Disqualification: Pregnancy during recruitment/training

  4. Fill application form with personal, educational, and other required details
  5. Upload scanned photo, signature, and documents
  6. Pay the application fee online

Selection Process:

  • Stage I – INET (Computer-Based Test):
    Candidates shortlisted based on online exam performance
  • Stage II – PFT + Medical + Further Written Test (if applicable):
    – PFT is mandatory and qualifying
    – Written test may be conducted again in Stage II
    – Medical conducted by authorized military doctors
  • Document Verification & Merit List: Final selection based on performance in all stages

Exam Pattern – INET:

For SSR (Senior Secondary Recruit):

  • Subjects: English, Science, Mathematics, General Awareness
  • Questions: 100 (25 per subject)
  • Duration: 1 hour
  • Marking: 1 mark/question, 0.25 negative marking

For MR (Matric Recruit):

  • Subjects: Science & Mathematics, General Awareness
  • Questions: 50
  • Duration: 30 minutes
  • Marking: 1 mark/question, 0.25 negative marking
