- Insect Rearing and Allied Industries Department:
- Passed Class 10 (Matric) from a recognized board
- AND
- 1-year Certificate in Sericulture / Silk
- OR 10+2 Vocational Course in Sericulture / Textile
- Skilled Craftsman and Equivalent Posts:
- Passed Class 10 (Matric) from a recognized board
- AND
- 1-year Certificate Course in Handicraft
- AND 2 years of work experience in Handicrafts Sector from a reputed institute
