MPESB conducts entrance examinations for admission into B.Sc Nursing, Post Basic B.Sc Nursing (PBBSc), and M.Sc Nursing courses in government and affiliated nursing colleges across Madhya Pradesh. The purpose of the exam is to select eligible candidates based on merit for undergraduate and postgraduate nursing programs through a computer-based entrance test, followed by counseling and document verification.

Eligibility Criteria
B.Sc Nursing (4-Year)
- 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English
- Minimum 45% (General), 40% (SC/ST/OBC of MP)
- Age: 17–35 years as of 31 December 2025
- Preference for MP domicile
Post Basic B.Sc Nursing (PBBSc)
- GNM (General Nursing & Midwifery) Diploma
- Minimum 45% marks in GNM
- Must be Registered Nurse/Midwife with State Nursing Council
- Age: Minimum 17 years as of 31 December 2025
M.Sc Nursing
- B.Sc Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc Nursing
- Minimum 55% (50% for reserved categories)
- 1-year clinical experience (may vary by college)
- Must be Registered Nurse/Midwife with State Nursing Council
