The NIACL AO Scale I Recruitment 2025 aims to recruit eligible candidates for Administrative Officer positions in both Generalist and Specialist categories across various disciplines, including Risk Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Legal, Accounts, Health, IT, Business Analysis, Company Secretary, and Actuarial. Eligibility Criteria
Nationality: Candidate must be a citizen of India or as per Govt. norms for Nepal, Bhutan, Tibetan refugee, or PIO migrants.
Age Limit (as on 01 August 2025):
- Minimum: 21 years
- Maximum: 30 years
- Born between 02 August 1995 and 01 August 2004 (both dates inclusive)
- Age Relaxation: SC/ST – 5 years, OBC – 3 years, PwBD – 10 years, others as per rules
Educational Qualification (as on 01 August 2025):
- Generalists: Graduate/Postgraduate in any discipline with minimum 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PwBD)
- Specialists:
- Risk Engineers: Engineering in any discipline
- Automobile Engineers: B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech in Automobile Engineering OR any Engineering degree with Automobile Diploma
- Legal Specialists: Graduate/Postgraduate in Law
- Accounts Specialists: CA/CMA or MBA Finance/PGDM Finance/M.Com with minimum 60% marks (55% for SC/ST/PwBD)
- AO (Health): MBBS/MD/MS/BDS/MDS/BAMS/BHMS (with valid registration)
- IT Specialists: B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech in IT/CS or MCA
- Business Analysts: Degree in Statistics/Mathematics/Actuarial Science/Data Science/Business Analytics
- Company Secretary: ACS/FCS from ICSI
- Actuarial Specialists: Graduation/Post-graduation + minimum 4 actuarial papers including CM1 from IAI or IFoA
Emoluments & Service Conditions
- Basic Pay: ₹50,925/- in the scale ₹50925-2500(14)-85925-2710(4)-96765
- Gross Salary: Approx. ₹88,000 – ₹90,000 per month in metro cities
- Benefits: NPS, Gratuity, LTS, Medical, Group Personal Accident Insurance, accommodation (as per rules)
- Probation: 1 year (extendable up to 2 years)
- Bond: 4 years including probation; penalty of 1 year’s gross salary if breached
Selection Process
Phase I – Preliminary Exam (14 September 2025)
- Objective Test: 100 Questions – 100 Marks – 60 Minutes
- Sections:
- English Language: 30 Qs – 30 Marks – 20 min
- Reasoning Ability: 35 Qs – 35 Marks – 20 min
- Quantitative Aptitude: 35 Qs – 35 Marks – 20 min
- Negative Marking: 0.25 marks per wrong answer
Phase II – Main Exam (29 October 2025)
- For Generalists: Reasoning, English, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude – each 50 Qs – 50 Marks – different time slots
- For Specialists: Reasoning, English, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude – each 40 Qs – 40 Marks + Professional Knowledge – 40 Qs – 40 Marks
Descriptive Test: Letter Writing (10 marks) + Essay Writing (20 marks), Duration: 30 minutes, English only, Qualifying Marks: 15/30 (13.5 for SC/ST/PwBD)
Phase III – Interview: Weightage – Mains 75% + Interview 25%
