The RRC Eastern Railway Act Apprentice 2025-26 recruitment is conducted to engage eligible candidates as Act Apprentices in various workshops and divisions under Eastern Railway. This program aims to provide practical training under the Apprentices Act, 1961, in trades approved by NCVT/SCVT. Selected candidates will undergo on-the-job skill development, but completion of training does not guarantee direct employment in Indian Railways.

Eligibility Criteria
- Age Limit (as on 13 September 2025):
- Minimum: 15 Years
- Maximum: 24 Years
- SC/ST: +5 Years
- OBC-NCL: +3 Years
- PwBD: +10 Years
- Ex-Servicemen: As per service rules
- Educational Qualification:
- Passed 10th Class (10+2 system) with minimum 50% marks
- ITI Certificate in relevant trade issued by NCVT or SCVT
- Medical Fitness: Must be certified fit by a Government Medical Officer in the prescribed format
Application Fee
- UR/OBC/EWS: ₹100
- SC/ST/PwBD/Women: Exempted
- Payment Mode: Online through Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, IMPS, Cash Card, or Mobile Wallet
Mode of Selection
- Merit list based on average of 10th and ITI percentage marks
- No written test or interview
- Tie-Breaker:
- Older candidate preferred
- If DOB same, earlier Matric pass preferred
- Shortlisted candidates (1.5x of total slots) will be called for Document Verification and Medical Examination

- Fill the online application form with correct details.

- PwBD/Disability Certificate (if applicable)

Key Notes
- Apprenticeship does not guarantee employment in the Railways.
- CCAA (Course Completed Act Apprentices) will get preference in Level-1 Railway recruitment as per rules.
- Applications with discrepancies, multiple submissions, or fake documents will be rejected.
- Candidates will be allowed to apply for only one unit and trade.
- All communication will be made via email/SMS only; no postal letters will be sent.
