The State Bank of India has announced the SBI Clerk Examination 2025 for the recruitment of Junior Associates (Customer Support & Sales). The recruitment process will be conducted for a total of 6,589 vacancies, including regular and backlog posts. Selection will be based on Preliminary Examination, Main Examination, Local Language Proficiency Test, Document Verification, and Medical Examination.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Educational Qualification: Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university. Final-year/semester candidates can apply provisionally if they obtain their degree by 31 December 2025.
  • Language Proficiency: Candidates must be proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding the local language of the state applied for.
  • Additional Desirable Certifications: Preference for certifications such as Forex from IIBF, CDCS, Certificate in Trade Finance, or International Banking.

Preliminary Exam (Qualifying):

  • Total Questions: 100 | Total Marks: 100 | Duration: 1 hour (Sectional timings)
  • Negative Marking: 0.25 marks per wrong answer

Salary:

  • Basic Pay: ₹24,050 + allowances
