The SSC Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Examination 2025 is conducted to recruit eligible graduate candidates for Group B (Gazetted/Non-Gazetted) and Group C (Non-Gazetted) posts in various central government ministries, departments, and organizations. The exam aims to fill positions like Assistant Section Officer, Auditor, Tax Assistant, Sub Inspector, and other central government posts across India.

Eligibility Criteria (as on 1 August 2025)
Educational Qualification:
- General Posts: Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized university
- Junior Statistical Officer (JSO): Bachelor’s Degree with 60% in Mathematics at 10+2 level or Bachelor’s Degree with Statistics as one of the subjects
- Statistical Investigator Grade-II: Same as above
- Assistant Audit Officer / Assistant Accounts Officer (AAO): Bachelor’s Degree + desirable qualification in CA/CS/MBA/Cost & Management Accounting
Age Limit:
- Minimum: 18 years
- Maximum: 30/32 years (Post dependent)
- Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST: 5 years
- OBC: 3 years
- PwBD: 10–15 years
- Ex-Servicemen: As per rules
Nationality:
Indian citizens and eligible citizens of Nepal, Bhutan, Tibetan refugees, and migrants from select countries with intent of permanent settlement in India.
