The SSC Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Examination 2025 is conducted to recruit eligible graduate candidates for Group B (Gazetted/Non-Gazetted) and Group C (Non-Gazetted) posts in various central government ministries, departments, and organizations. The exam aims to fill positions like Assistant Section Officer, Auditor, Tax Assistant, Sub Inspector, and other central government posts across India.

  • Notification Release: 9 June 2025
  • Application Begin: 9 June 2025
  • Last Date to Apply Online: 4 July 2025 (up to 11:00 PM)
  • Last Date to Pay Fee: 5 July 2025 (up to 11:00 PM)
  • Correction Window: 9 July to 11 July 2025
  • Tier-I Exam (CBT): 13 August to 30 August 2025
  • Tier-II Exam: December 2025 (Tentative)

Eligibility Criteria (as on 1 August 2025)

Educational Qualification:

  • General Posts: Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized university
  • Junior Statistical Officer (JSO): Bachelor’s Degree with 60% in Mathematics at 10+2 level or Bachelor’s Degree with Statistics as one of the subjects
  • Statistical Investigator Grade-II: Same as above
  • Assistant Audit Officer / Assistant Accounts Officer (AAO): Bachelor’s Degree + desirable qualification in CA/CS/MBA/Cost & Management Accounting

Age Limit:

  • Minimum: 18 years
  • Maximum: 30/32 years (Post dependent)
  • Age Relaxation:
    • SC/ST: 5 years
    • OBC: 3 years
    • PwBD: 10–15 years
    • Ex-Servicemen: As per rules

Nationality:
Indian citizens and eligible citizens of Nepal, Bhutan, Tibetan refugees, and migrants from select countries with intent of permanent settlement in India.

  2. Complete One-Time Registration (OTR)
  3. Login and select “Combined Graduate Level Examination 2025”
  4. Fill application form carefully
  5. Upload photo and signature as per format
  6. Pay the application fee
  7. Submit and download the application form for future reference

  • Tier-I (CBT – 60 mins | 100 Questions | 200 Marks | Negative Marking: 0.50 per wrong answer):
    • General Intelligence & Reasoning – 25 Qs (50 Marks)
    • General Awareness – 25 Qs (50 Marks)
    • Quantitative Aptitude – 25 Qs (50 Marks)
    • English Comprehension – 25 Qs (50 Marks)
  • Tier-II (CBT – Key Stage for Final Merit):
    • Paper-I (Compulsory for All Posts):
      • Session-I (2 hr 15 min):

        • Reasoning & General Intelligence: 30 Qs, 90 Marks

  • General Intelligence & Reasoning: Analogy, Coding-Decoding, Venn Diagrams, Blood Relations, etc.

  • Level 4 to Level 8: ₹25,500 to ₹81,100+
  • Other Benefits: DA, HRA, TA, and central govt. allowances
