Eligibility Criteria:

  • Educational Qualification:
    Must be a Law Graduate holding a Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LL.B.), including integrated 5-year law courses, from any university recognized by the Bar Council of India.
    Final-year students of 3-year or 5-year law programs are eligible, subject to submission of proof of graduation before appointment.
  • Age Limit (as on 07 February 2025):
    • Minimum: 20 years
    • Maximum: 32 years
  • Skills Required:
    • Strong legal research and analytical skills
    • Excellent writing ability
    • Proficiency with legal tools: e-SCR, Manupatra, SCC Online, LexisNexis, Westlaw, etc.

Selection Process:

  1. Part I – Objective Test (Online MCQ):
    • Focus on legal knowledge and reading comprehension
  2. Part II – Subjective Written Test:
    • Analytical and writing skills assessed through handwritten answers
    • Questions displayed on screen
  3. Part III – Interview:
    • Final round to assess suitability for engagement

  • Fill in the application form completely and correctly
  • Upload scanned photograph and signature as instructed
  • Submit fee online via UCO Bank gateway
  • Only the most recent application will be accepted if submitted multiple times
  • Retain the application number and take a printout after submission

General Instructions:

  • Engagement is strictly temporary and contractual
  • No regular appointment is assured
  • Law Clerks must not undertake any other job or legal practice during tenure
  • May be required to work during holidays or after office hours
  • No TA/DA will be provided for the written test
  • Engagement can be terminated anytime by the Registry with notice
  • All disputes are subject to Delhi jurisdiction
