Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification (Both Posts):
- Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized university
Desirable Qualifications (Not Mandatory):
- Law, MBA, PGDM, Chartered Accountant, Company Secretary, Cost & Management Accountant, or relevant administrative/accounts/legal experience
Age Limit (as of 22 August 2025):
- EO/AO: UR/EWS – 30 years | OBC – 33 years | SC/ST – 35 years | PwBD – 40 years
- APFC: UR/EWS/OBC – 35 years | SC – 40 years | PwBD – 45 years
- Additional relaxations apply as per government rules
Selection Process
Combined Recruitment Test (CRT) – 75% Weightage
- Duration: 2 hours
- Questions: 120 (Objective, Multiple Choice)
- Total Marks: 300 (2.5 marks each)
- Negative Marking: 1/3rd for wrong answers
- Medium: Hindi & English (except General English section)
- Syllabus: General English, Indian Culture & Freedom Movements, Population, Development & Globalization, Constitution of India, Current Trends in Indian Economy, Accounting & Auditing, Industrial Relations, Labour Laws, Insurance, Basic Computer Applications, General Science, Quantitative Aptitude
Interview / Personality Test – 25% Weightage
- Minimum marks: UR/EWS – 50 | OBC – 45 | SC/ST/PwBD – 40
- Final Merit List: Based on combined performance in CRT and Interview
Pay Scale
- EO/AO: Level 8 (₹47,600 – ₹1,51,100)
- APFC: Level 10 (₹56,100 – ₹1,77,500)
- Other Allowances: HRA, DA, TA, Medical, Pension, etc.
Job Role
- EO/AO: Enforcement of EPF & MP Act, accounts, recovery, legal matters, administration, pension, MIS, cash/bank reconciliation
- APFC: Higher responsibilities in enforcement, administration, legal, accounts, recovery, pension, MIS; postings often at New Delhi or across regional offices
