Job Responsibilities & Pay Scale
EO/AO (Group B, Non‑Ministerial)
- Pay Level 8 under 7th CPC
- Duties: Enforcement, recovery, accounts, administration, legal, pension, IT operations, claim settlements, MIS preparation, and reconciliation of bank statements
APFC (Group A, Non‑Ministerial)
- Pay Level 10 under 7th CPC
- Duties: Similar to EO/AO but with higher responsibilities in managing and overseeing EPFO operations
Eligibility Criteria
Nationality:
- Citizen of India
- Subject of Nepal or Bhutan
- Tibetan refugee migrated before 01 January 1962 for permanent settlement
- Person of Indian origin from specified countries with eligibility certificate from Government of India
Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST: 5 Years
- OBC: 3 Years
- EPFO Employees: 5 Years
- PwBD: 10 Years (General/EWS), 13 Years (OBC), 15 Years (SC/ST)
- Central/UT Govt Employees & Ex‑Servicemen: 5 Years
Selection Process
1. Combined Recruitment Test (CRT) – 75% Weightage
- Mode: Offline, Objective MCQ
- Duration: 2 Hours (120 Minutes)
- Questions: 120 | Total Marks: 300
- Language: English & Hindi (except English section)
- Negative Marking: 1/3rd per wrong answer
2. Interview/Personality Test – 25% Weightage
- Total Marks: 100
- Qualifying Marks: UR/EWS 50 | OBC 45 | SC/ST/PwBD 40
